Skaugen Gulf Petchem Carriers (SGPC) is a subsidiary of I. M. Skaugen. SGPC is a new joint venture company incorporated under the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain and has a registered office in the Bahrain Financial Harbour. SGPC was launched on December 26, 2010. In this joint venture project, nogaholding has a 35% stake, with the Norwegian Company Skaugen holding another 35% and Capital Management House the remaining 30%.

I.M. Skaugen is a marine transportation service company engaged in the transportation of petrochemical gases LPG and LNG, marine transfer of crude oil and LNG, as well as the design and construction of small and specialized high quality shipping vessels. The company is registered on the Oslo, Norway stock market.

The business of SGPC is the transportation of petrochemical gases, e.g. LNG, ethylene, propylene, butadiene. The ships largely service the route from the Middle East to China and the Far East. The company is the largest provider of this service in the Middle East.
